Quick Tips to Get Grounded

Quick Tips to Get Grounded
The world is moving fast, and we are having to adapt just as quickly.

To get grounded, focused, and feeling more settled, check out these quick tips.
Feeling spacey? Reconnect
  • Allow your mind, body, spirit to reconnect: touch your index finger to the space between your eyebrows and take a few breaths. What do you notice about what your energy has been doing? How do you want to correct it to bring yourself into better balance?

Feeling stuck? Hydrate
  • Water fuels our body’s processes. The act of its movement through our system activates, clears, and ultimately releases old energy. Get drinking to help your body refresh and enliven.

Feeling frazzled? Get Grounded
  • Through meditation or any personal practice, reconnect with the earth and with yourself.
  • Wanna learn more about what it means to get grounded? Check out the podcast entitled “Grounding” from The Minimalists. I love the speaker they are interviewing and they keep the tips basic but informative.
  • For some simple tips on reconnecting with the earth and ourselves through meditation, check out my article Using the 5 Senses to Create an Inviting Meditation Space.
