On a recent trip to a favorite bookstore, I found The Book of Hygge by Louisa Thomsen Brits, and could not set it down.
Hygge (pronounced somewhere between hoo-gah and hue-gah) is the Danish art of celebrating the magnificence in simple acts, creating deeper connection to the present moment and relationships with others. I read through it quickly but thoughtfully, usually over morning coffee or afternoon tea. Creating ritual around reading the book allowed me to match the energy of hygge, hopefully awakening to more opportunities of its enhancement within my life. For this past month, I have been working with this book/guided meditation cd, Getting into the Vortex by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
Being guided through meditations revives my practice. The four 15-minute guided meditations are helping me settle into my space, focus, and open to higher vibrations of well being and financial abundance, acting as a catalyst for my change. Reading through the book helps drive home the teachings in the meditations.

Meditation acts as a compass guiding our path, helping us to know ourselves.
When we meditate, our energy is firmly rooted in the present creating the space for us to connect with our intuition. We notice greater ease in identifying our values and priorities and establishing mindfulness around our actions and communication. We begin to develop healthy boundaries, maintain emotional balance, and experience personal fulfillment in recognizing how we can best serve ourselves and our community.
I was crying deeply for at least 20 minutes, barely coming up for air. The thought came through, nothing is real, nothing is real.
I have pondered the definition of reality for quite some time. To me, reality is my energetic vibration expressed in this dimension. My energetic vibration is rooted through experiences that allows me to grow, create, and heal and released through my experience of wins, losses, loves, laughs, and cries.
