Meditation Supports Healing
Creating a regular meditation practice brings thoughts, judgments, hurts, and hopes to our consciousness. It takes courage and discipline to sit in meditation and face these challenges. However, if our intention is to clear mental clutter, create healthy boundaries, replenish, rebalance, and focus our energy, and find a deeper connection to peace, gratitude, and insight, then creating a meditation practice is very fulfilling.
Being busy is an indicator that we need to meditate.
Being overworked, over-scheduled, and feeling tension in relationships are good indicators that we need to prioritize meditation. We have lost our equilibrium and need to regain connection to ourselves to get back on track.
Feeling the pull to meditate but are on the go?
Take advantage of quiet places!
Find a bathroom stall, your car, an empty park bench, or a quite spot inside a coffee shop.
I have meditated in all of these places!
Have the Kids Join In
Kids of all ages respond to energy.
If you have kids and are grounded and calm and practicing mindfulness, they will feel it.
Do you notice them resisting your desire for balance?
Then become more engaged in your practice.
The stronger you are the more influence you have on shifting their energy.
Invite them to meditate with you. Teach them the tools. Explain to them the benefits.
Come up with examples of how they can use meditation in their life.
