Life gets busy in spring and crazy in summer. Days are spent trying to keep up with the movement of the sun, to then crash into bed when we know that is the only reasonable option left in the day.
When the sun starts to slow and the leaves start to turn, our body follows suit. Moments have an air of contemplativeness. We are relieved to exchange an idle spirit for the hyper function of the psyche in the summer.
The holiday season is a challenge. Our bodies are adjusting to the seasonal shift and we are craving time to cozy-up for some self care.
But, we can't slow down yet. We are taking stock of our history, accomplishments and missteps during the past year, and managing work, friend, and family relationships. This is a lot to process, ALL AT ONCE!!
No matter what you are working with, I've got some mindfulness tips to help you navigate the holiday season, spirit intact.
As a psychic, I have to tell you. Halloween is a headache.
It’s an amplification of what I deal with daily. Deceased spirits contact me regularly and they are pushy, nasty, and self righteous. It can be crazy frustrating. They can actually wake me up in the middle of the night or touch me on the shoulder when I am trying to enjoy a latte at my local coffee shop. UGH!
