Discussing life dreams is a regular topic in consultations. Many are staring within this framework:
Maybe this structure, or some pieces, are the dream, but maybe they aren't, for you.
Time to identify authenticity.
In general, the big lifestyle influences on one's life dream come from family, friends, social and news media, all throwing out pictures of their definition of success.
We must consciously explore and examine components connecting us to our authentic life dream.
When we do not, our influences do not match our own desires. We end up reluctantly emulating how others live, what they buy, and how they chose a partner. We think it will lead us to happiness but it never does. We enter into a cyclical trap that feels like lethargy, frustration, anger, and we also may overindulge in food or drink, working, doing more for others than ourselves, constantly watching TV or engaging in social media. We feeling powerless and create escapes.
These numbing techniques deny the feelings we know lie underneath, the intimidation of needing to change.
Yet, these feelings are great clues letting us know that our spirit needs attention.
Our authentic life dream is asking us to honestly examine what we truly need in our lives. Then, we can edit the outline, having the discipline and determination to change what is not working.
The only life dream worth attaching to is the one that makes us feel empowered!
Activating our awareness as our guide, we can create our life dream one choice at a time.
