As we are moving out of the planetary transaction of Mercury Retrograde, I thought it would be fun to ask the Tarot for a bit of advice on how to deal with the transition. When working with the tarot, I often pull just one or three cards as I like to keep things simple and allow my intuition and clairvoyance to fill in the remainder of the gaps in communication. So, after asking for some guidance in how to proceed in this next week of healing and I pulled The Emperor card from my deck.
In this most recent Mercury Retrograde, we have felt ungrounded as we worked through this time of the air element. Ideas have been abundant as we have spent time going over different plans and perceptions. Decisions have been on hold as we have worked to gather information to help us see our direction more clearly.
Finally as we move into this healing time, The Emperor's message is on Recovery, Regrouping, and Refocusing. Initially, take some time to Recover: meditate and ground your self, do something simple that you think is fun to experience your joy in the present moment. Next, Regroup: take the ideas you have been contemplating and give them some structure as the time is upon us to create some action. Finally, Refocus: this will lead to the decisions you need to feel like you are regaining control of your life and surroundings.
Mercury Retrograde can move through our lives like a grizzly bear woken up from his afternoon nap. When we take the time to become aware of the attributes of this transition, we are practicing mindfulness. We have the choice to give space to ourselves and react by being kinder and more patient with our challenges during this period. By choosing to let go based on the observations of the present moment, we are moving through life's fluctuations in conjunction of our self. This is empowerment. Give yourself a pat on the back you beast of awareness!
