It has never landed me anywhere, never given me an opportunity to really know myself in the context of space and time. Well, maybe that is the point, but I am a lot more practical of a being. Experiencing in the esoteric energies of existence is what I love to do and share, but I also love being on this earth with family, friends, and nature. So, I have to say, I’m kinda over “Who am I.”
This morning I took a moment to focus on the statement “I know who I am.” I don’t think I had really done this before but, as I let the idea sink in, I started to feel a wave of relief. It was like all of the opinions of the world washed away and I was just there with myself. I know my good and challenging traits, what I like to do, how I like to give, what love means to me, and what I want to do with my life today. Focusing on “I know who I am” gives me the opportunity to see what is working and what I may want to change in my life.
In essence, “I know who I am” validates this actual present moment. For me, this is an epically grounding experience. The shift of this phrase suddenly empowers me, validating my information, and giving me the opportunity of vision to maneuver what I want to create.
Sometimes a small shift in focus can make all the difference in attitude.
